Archiving & Digital Preservation Policy

International Journal of Health, Economics, and Social Science (IJHESS) is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility, availability, and preservation of all published scholarly content through sustainable archiving and digital preservation practices.

The journal recognizes the importance of maintaining permanent access to scientific publications for researchers, academics, practitioners, and the wider community. Therefore, IJHESS implements digital preservation strategies to protect published articles from data loss, technological changes, and system failures.

The archiving and digital preservation policy of IJHESS includes the following principles:

  • All published articles are stored and maintained in the journal’s online publishing system.

  • Electronic backup copies of journal content are regularly created and securely preserved.

  • Published articles remain permanently accessible through the journal website unless removal is required due to serious ethical or legal issues.

  • The journal supports long-term preservation through indexing services, institutional repositories, and academic databases when applicable.

  • Metadata and digital records are maintained to ensure discoverability, accessibility, and citation continuity.

  • The journal seeks to ensure compatibility with evolving digital publishing standards and technologies.

In cases where the journal website becomes unavailable, reasonable efforts will be made by the publisher to restore access to archived content and preserve the integrity of published scholarly records.

The publisher, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu, is responsible for supporting the sustainability, preservation, and continued accessibility of IJHESS publications as part of its commitment to academic dissemination and scientific integrity.
