4. Ethical Compliance

Authors must ensure that all submissions:

• Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

5. Editorial Screening

Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment covering:

• Journal scope and relevance
• Formatting compliance
• Plagiarism screening
• Overall academic quality

Only manuscripts that satisfy these criteria proceed to peer review.

6. Double-Blind Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers through a double-blind peer-review process. Reviewer recommendations include:

• Accept
• Minor Revision
• Major Revision
• Reject

7. Revision

Authors receiving revision requests should submit:

• Revised manuscript
• Response to reviewer comments
• Revision within the specified deadline

Failure to submit revisions within the allotted time may result in withdrawal of the manuscript from the editorial process.

8. Final Editorial Decision

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on reviewer recommendations, editorial evaluation, and compliance with journal standards.

9. Copyright

Authors retain copyright while granting IJHESS the right to publish, archive, and disseminate the accepted article under the journal's Open Access policy.

10. Author Responsibility
