Submission Guidelines

Authors intending to submit manuscripts to International Journal of Health, Economics, and Social Science (IJHESS) are required to follow the submission guidelines below to ensure a smooth editorial and review process.

Online Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system. Authors are required to register and log in before submitting their manuscripts.

During submission, authors must complete all required metadata, including:

  • Title of the manuscript

  • Author(s) information

  • Institutional affiliation

  • Email address of the corresponding author

  • Abstract

  • Keywords

  • References

Manuscript Originality

Submitted manuscripts must:

  • Be original and unpublished

  • Not be under review or consideration by another journal or publisher

  • Be free from plagiarism and unethical publication practices

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the authenticity and originality of their work.

Manuscript Language

Manuscripts may be submitted in:

  • English

Authors are encouraged to ensure that the language used is clear, academic, and grammatically correct.

Manuscript Format

Authors must prepare manuscripts according to the journal template and formatting requirements, including:

  • Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx)

  • Times New Roman, 10 pt

  • 1.0 line spacing

  • A4 paper size

  • Standard margins

  • Proper citation and reference style (APA Style latest edition)

Manuscripts that do not follow the formatting guidelines may be returned for revision before review.

Required Manuscript Components

The manuscript should include:

  1. Title

  2. Author(s) Name and Affiliation

  3. Abstract

  4. Keywords

  5. Introduction

  6. Methodology / Research Method

  7. Results and Discussion

  8. Conclusion

  9. References

Additional sections such as acknowledgments or appendices may be included when necessary.

Ethical Compliance

Authors must ensure that:

  • All co-authors have approved the manuscript submission

  • Data and findings are accurate and reliable

  • Proper citations and acknowledgments are provided

  • Ethical approval has been obtained where applicable

  • Any conflicts of interest are disclosed

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with relevant ethical standards and institutional regulations.

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using similarity detection software.

Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical similarities may be rejected immediately.

Peer Review Process

All eligible manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript topic.

Authors may be required to revise the manuscript based on reviewer and editor comments before final acceptance.

Revision Process

If revisions are requested, authors must:

  • Revise the manuscript carefully according to reviewer comments

  • Submit the revised version within the specified deadline

  • Provide a response or explanation regarding revisions made

Failure to submit revisions within the allocated time may result in manuscript withdrawal from the publication process.

Final Decision

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on:

  • Reviewer recommendations

  • Editorial evaluation

  • Manuscript quality and compliance with journal standards

Possible decisions include:

  • Accept

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

Copyright and Publication Rights

Authors retain copyright of their manuscripts while granting the journal the right to publish, archive, and distribute the work under the journal’s publication policy.

Author Responsibility

Authors are fully responsible for:

  • The content of the manuscript

  • Accuracy of references and data

  • Compliance with ethical standards

  • Any legal or ethical consequences related to the publication
