International Journal of Health, Economics, and Social Science (IJHESS)

International Journal of Health, Economics, and Social Science (IJHESS) was established as an interdisciplinary scholarly journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu to provide an international platform for disseminating high-quality research in the fields of health sciences, economics, and social sciences. The journal was founded to encourage scientific collaboration, promote evidence-based research, and support the advancement of multidisciplinary knowledge addressing contemporary global challenges.

First Publication

IJHESS published its inaugural issue as Volume 1, Number 1 in October 2019. Since its establishment, the journal has consistently maintained a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, upheld academic integrity and publication ethics, and adopted a fully Open Access publishing model to maximize the global dissemination of scientific knowledge. The journal welcomes original contributions from researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide.

Recent Achievement

IJHESS has been reaccredited and upgraded from SINTA Rank 5 to SINTA Rank 2, effective from Volume 7, Issue 4 (2025) through Volume 12, Issue 3 (2030), pursuant to the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026 dated 24 July 2026. This achievement reflects the journal's continuous commitment to strengthening editorial quality, improving publication standards, expanding scholarly visibility, and enhancing its national and international academic reputation.
