Hubungan Kontrol Glikemik dengan Aktifitas Fisik Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Kota Padangsidimpuan
The Relationship between Glycemic Control and Physical Activity of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients in Padangsidimpuan City
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Kontrol glikemik merupakan suatu pengendalian glukosa pasien Diabetes Melitus (DM). Kontrol ini dilakukan setiap 3 bulan sekali yang meliputi pemeriksaan kontrol kadar gula darah puasa, kadar gula postprandial, serta kadar HbA1c. Apabila tidak diakukan secara teratur, dapat menyebabkan komplikasi sehingga penting dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan kontrol glikemik dengan aktifitas fisik pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Kota Padangsidimpuan.
Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah non eksperimen dengan rancangan cross sectional. Lokasi penelitian ini di kota Padangsidimpuan dengan waktu Bulan April hingga Juli 2021. Kriteria sampel berupa pasien diabetes mellitus minimal menderita DM selama 5 tahun, dapat membaca dan menulis, tidak memiliki komplikasi penyakit berat. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 95 pasien. Teknik sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square.
Hasil: Mayoritas pasien tidak teratur melakukan kontrol kadar gula darah puasa (75,8%). Pasien yang tidak melakukan aktifitas fisik sebesar 70,5%. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kontrol glikemik dengan aktifitas fisik pasien diabetes melitis tipe 2 di Kota Padangsidimpuan (p<0.001).
Kesimpulan: hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kontrol glikemik berhubungan terhadap aktifitas fisik pasien diabetes melitis tipe 2 di Kota Padangsidimpuan.
