Media Publikasi Promosi Kesehatan Indonesia accepts manuscripts that make a clear contribution to public health research, policy, education, or practice. Submissions must be relevant to the journal Focus and Scope and demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, analytical depth, and transparent reporting.
1. Original Research Article
An Original Research Article presents complete findings from an empirical study using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods. The study must address a clearly defined research question and demonstrate relevance to public health, population health, health promotion, disease prevention, health policy, or a closely related field within the journal scope.

Methods reporting
The Methods section should provide sufficient information for evaluation and replication. Authors should describe the study design, setting and study period, participants or data sources, eligibility criteria, sampling procedures, sample-size basis, variables, measurement instruments, data collection, quality control, analytical methods, software and version, ethical approval, consent procedures, and registration information when applicable.
2. Review Article
A Review Article synthesizes and critically evaluates existing evidence relevant to the journal scope. Review manuscripts should use a transparent and reproducible approach, present a clearly defined review question, and explain how evidence was identified, selected, assessed, and synthesized.

- Explicit eligibility criteria
- Search sources and complete search strategy

- Critical appraisal or risk-of-bias assessment when applicable
- Appropriate evidence-synthesis methods
- A study-selection flow diagram
- Compliance with the relevant PRISMA guideline
- Protocol registration information when available
Manuscripts generally not considered
- Manuscripts outside the current Focus and Scope
- Community service reports without a research design
- Incomplete studies or fragmented publication of one study
- Purely descriptive manuscripts without analytical or scholarly contribution
- Case reports that do not provide a substantial public-health contribution
- Laboratory, pharmaceutical, or clinical studies without clear population-health relevance
- Reviews without a transparent evidence-search and selection method
- Manuscripts without adequate ethical documentation when required
