About the Journal
Media Publikasi Promosi Kesehatan Indonesia (MPPKI) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal publishing original research articles, review articles, and short communications in health promotion, public health, and related health sciences. The journal promotes evidence-based scholarship, methodological rigor, research integrity, and responsible communication of findings that contribute to community and population health.
The journal welcomes manuscripts in the following areas and closely related fields:
Strategies, programs, interventions, implementation, and evaluation across settings.
Health literacy, behavior change, communication, and health-promotion interventions.
Community participation, empowerment, advocacy, and community-based action.
Risk communication, digital media, campaigns, and communication interventions.
Environmental exposure, workplace risks, prevention, safety, and worker well-being.
Health systems, governance, management, services, policy, and implementation.
Disease patterns, determinants, burden, surveillance, prevention, and population-level evidence.
Every submission undergoes initial editorial screening for scope alignment, completeness, originality, submission compliance, and required ethical and transparency statements. Eligible manuscripts proceed to double-blind peer review by independent reviewers with relevant subject and methodological expertise.
