JPHP does not charge submission fees, editorial-screening fees, peer-review fees, revision fees, or separate fees based on the number of authors.
Waiver and Reduction Policy
JPHP does not provide full waivers, partial waivers, discounts, or reductions of the Article Processing Charge. Authors should consider the applicable publication charge before submitting a manuscript.

Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are based solely on the manuscript's relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reporting quality, and scientific contribution.
An author's ability or willingness to pay the Article Processing Charge does not influence reviewer selection, editorial assessment, acceptance, rejection, publication priority, or the scheduling of an accepted article.
Payment cannot be used to obtain, accelerate, or guarantee manuscript acceptance.
Payment Information
Official payment instructions are provided privately to the corresponding author only after the manuscript has received a formal acceptance decision. Bank-account, recipient, and transaction details are not displayed publicly for security reasons.
Authors should verify that all payment instructions originate from the official JPHP Editorial Office. Proof of payment may be requested as part of the post-acceptance administrative process.
Post-Acceptance Publication Processing
After the required post-acceptance administrative formalities have been completed, the accepted manuscript proceeds to copyediting, typesetting, author-proof review, metadata preparation, DOI registration, and publication scheduling.
Payment of the Article Processing Charge does not guarantee publication in a particular issue or on a particular date. Publication scheduling remains subject to completion of the production process and the journal's editorial schedule.
Withdrawal After Acceptance
Requests to withdraw a manuscript after acceptance are handled in accordance with the JPHP Article Withdrawal Policy. Authors should review the applicable withdrawal provisions before requesting cancellation of an accepted manuscript.
Open Access Publication
JPHP publishes accepted articles under an immediate Open Access model. Published articles are freely and permanently accessible to readers without subscription, registration, or access barriers.
Unless otherwise stated, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License . Authors retain copyright and grant JPHP the nonexclusive right of first publication.
