Policy Update: Journal of Public Health and Pharmacy
Since its launch in 2021, the Journal of Public Health and Pharmacy (JPHP) has published five articles per issue, releasing three issues annually. Through continuous efforts to elevate its standards, the journal achieved a significant milestone by being accepted into Scopus on January 16, 2024, following its application in December 2023.
Authors are strongly encouraged to adhere to the journal’s submission guidelines, Scopus requirements, and formatting instructions, as non-compliance may result in rejection. To uphold quality and integrity, JPHP implements a rigorous double-blind review process, where submissions undergo impartial evaluation by qualified experts, ensuring the publication of reliable and high-impact research in public health and pharmacy.
About the Journal
The Journal of Public Health and Pharmacy is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research, reviews, and brief reports covering various aspects of public health and pharmacy. Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Epidemiology
- Health education and behavioral science
- Environmental health and occupational safety
- Health administration and policy
- Reproductive health
- Cost-effectiveness analysis in public health interventions
- The role of pharmacy in public health
The journal welcomes submissions addressing disease patterns, health literacy, environmental risks, workplace safety, healthcare systems, reproductive health, economic efficiency of health interventions, and pharmaceutical contributions to public health.
JPHP is published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu under the editorial leadership of Dr. Ahmad Yani. Since its establishment in 2021, the journal has remained committed to advancing knowledge in public health and pharmacy. The recent Scopus indexing (January 16, 2024) marks a significant milestone, reflecting JPHP’s dedication to quality and impact. The journal follows a triannual publication schedule with issues released in March, July, and November.
