Strategi Promosi Kesehatan dalam Menghadapi Dampak Perubahan Iklim bagi Kesehatan Masyarakat: Systematic Literature Review
Health Promotion Strategies in Addressing the Impact of Climate Change on Public Health: Systematic Literature Review
Abstract
Latar belakang: Perubahan iklim dapat memengaruhi kesehatan masyarakat. Dampak perubahan iklim pada lingkungan diantaranya adalah adanya peningkatan suhu global, perubahan pola cuaca, peningkatan polusi udara yang pada akhirnya dapat berdampak pada kesehatan masyarakat seperti peningkatan penyakit menular dan penyakit tidak menular serta gangguan kesehatan mental. Untuk menangani masalah ini, sangat diperlukan strategi pemantauan dan respons kesehatan masyarakat. Strategi promosi kesehatan dan komunikasi yang efektif memiliki peran penting karena promosi kesehatan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesejahteraan masyarakat secara keseluruhan.
Tujuan: mengetahui bagaimana dampak perubahan iklim terhadap kesehatan masyarakat serta bagaimana strategi promosi kesehatan yang efektif dalam menghadapi dampak perubahan iklim bagi kesehatan masyarakat.
Metode: Database yang digunakan dalam systematic literature review ini adalah ebscohost, google scholar, pubmed dan sciencedirect, yang dipublikasi dari tahun 2019-2023. Systematic review ini menggunakan 9 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan sesuai relevansi.
Hasil: Dari 9 artikel terpilih menunjukkan bahwa perlu adanya strategi komunikasi yang efektif dalam menghadapi dampak perubahan iklim pada kesehatan masyarakat.
Kesimpulan: Strategi promosi kesehatan memainkan peran kunci dalam mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim pada kesehatan masyarakat dengan meningkatkan literasi kesehatan, keterlibatan komunitas, advokasi, peran profesional kesehatan sebagai sumber informasi terpercaya, dan kampanye komunikasi yang efektif. Diperlukan evaluasi jangka panjang untuk memahami efektivitas dari penggunaan strategi promosi kesehatan dalam konteks perubahan iklim dan kesehatan masyarakat.
