Journal of Foreign Language and Educational Research

Reviewers play an essential role in the peer review process by providing objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of submitted manuscripts.


1. Purpose of Peer Review

The journal applies a double-blind peer review system in which reviewers and authors remain anonymous.


2. Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

5. Review Criteria

Reviewers are encouraged to evaluate manuscripts based on the following aspects:

  • Does the manuscript offer new insights or contributions?

  • Is the topic relevant to the journal scope?

b. Title and Abstract

  • Are the title and abstract clear and informative?

  • Do they accurately reflect the content?

c. Introduction and Literature Review

  • Is the research background clearly explained?

  • Are objectives and research questions well defined?

  • Is the literature review relevant and up to date?

d. Methodology

  • Is the research design appropriate?

  • Are methods clearly explained and valid?

  • Is data collection and analysis adequate?

e. Results and Discussion

  • Are findings presented clearly?

  • Are findings supported by evidence and previous studies?

f. Conclusion

  • Are conclusions supported by the findings?

  • Are implications and recommendations appropriate?

g. References

h. Language and Presentation

  • Is the manuscript written clearly and academically?

  • Are tables and figures properly presented?


6. Reviewer Recommendations

Reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision

  • Minor revision

  • Major revision

  • Reject

Reviewers should provide detailed comments to support their recommendations.


7. Ethical Considerations

Reviewers should notify the editor if they identify:

  • Plagiarism or duplicate publication

  • Data fabrication or falsification

  • Ethical concerns involving research participants

  • Significant similarities with previously published work

The journal follows ethical publishing standards and takes all concerns seriously.


8. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
