Promotif: Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat (PJKM) is an open-access journal. All published articles are made freely and immediately available online without subscription, registration, or embargo barriers.
PJKM supports equitable access to scholarly knowledge and the broad dissemination of evidence that can strengthen public health research, education, policy, programmes, services, and community practice. Readers may access the journal's published content from anywhere in the world without paying an access fee.

Publishing Model
Gold Open Access: PJKM applies a Gold Open Access publishing model. The final published version of each article is freely available on the journal website immediately after publication.
No subscription or institutional login is required to read published articles. The existence of an article processing charge, where applicable, does not affect the editorial decision, peer-review outcome, or reader access to published content.

Unless otherwise stated, articles published by PJKM are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This licence permits others to copy, distribute, display, perform, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the published work, including for commercial purposes, provided that:

Copyright and Publication Rights
Authors retain copyright in their published work. By submitting an accepted manuscript for publication, authors grant PJKM the right of first publication and the non-exclusive rights necessary to publish, distribute, preserve, index, display, and identify the journal as the original publication venue.
Authors remain responsible for ensuring that all submitted material is original or used with appropriate permission, attribution, licence, consent, and ethical approval.

Author Sharing and Self-Archiving

Reader Access Fee
PJKM does not charge readers to access published articles.
Subscription Fee
No subscription is required to read journal content.
Article Processing Charge
Any author-side fee must be stated transparently on the journal's Article Processing Charges page.
Editorial independence: Payment status, fee waivers, institutional affiliation, and financial capacity must not influence peer review or editorial acceptance decisions.
Long-Term Access and Preservation
PJKM seeks to maintain persistent access to published content through its journal platform, DOI registration, metadata dissemination, indexing services, institutional storage, and the archiving arrangements described in the journal's separate Archiving Policy. Open access does not remove the need for preservation, version control, metadata quality, or persistent identifiers.
