Promotif: Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat is a national, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that advances the science, philosophy, policy, and practice of public health. The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, public health practitioners, policymakers, healthcare professionals, programme managers, and other stakeholders involved in protecting and improving population health.
The journal publishes work that contributes to disease prevention, health promotion, health equity, community well-being, evidence-informed decision-making, and the strengthening of public health services and systems at local, national, regional, and global levels.
Article Types
Promotif: Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat accepts only the following two article types:
Original Research Article An article reporting original empirical research with a clear research question, appropriate methodology, valid analysis, and findings that contribute to public health knowledge, policy, programmes, services, or practice.
Review Article An article that critically synthesises existing public health evidence. This category includes systematic reviews, meta-analyses, scoping reviews, and narrative or critical reviews, using methods appropriate to the selected review approach.

Manuscripts should demonstrate a clear contribution to public health knowledge, policy, programmes, services, or practice.
Editorial Note: The topics listed above are not exhaustive. The Editors will consider manuscripts addressing other relevant public health issues, provided that the submission demonstrates scientific quality, ethical integrity, methodological rigour, and a clear contribution to population health.
