Abstract

Latar belakang: Readmission merupakan suatu penanda kualitas perawatan pasien di rumah sakit yang diidentifikasi oleh rencana kesehatan yang telah dibuat sebagai kunci dari komponen sebuah pelayanan yang diberikan. Intervensi telehealth menawarkan pendekatan berbasis bukti untuk memberikan perawatan yang hemat biaya, pendidikan, dan komunikasi jarak jauh tepat waktu.

Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh telehealth terhadap pencegahan readmisi rawat inap pasien.

Metode: Menggunakan pendekatan meta-analysis dengan pencarian artikel dibeberapa database seperti Google Scholar, ProQuest, dan other sources (websites) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) berdasarkan kriteria inklusi menggunakan PICO tool terdiri dari pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit (RS), follow-up, dan rawat jalan, yang mendapatkan intervensi telehealth dibandingkan dengan mendapatkan perawatan biasa, untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap readmission rate, dari semua desain studi. Artikel yang digunakan berbahasa Inggris, dipublikasi dalam waktu lima tahun (2018-2023) serta fullpaper dengan memasukkan kata kunci “Telehealth Readmission”, kemudian diseleksi menggunakan diagram alur PRISMA 2020, berdasarkan judul, abstrak, dan hasil. Tahap pemilihan dilakukan dengan sintesis hasil-hasil penelitian melalui pendekatan systematic review.

Hasil: Penelusuran artikel dibeberapa database menghasilkan 24.687 artikel dan setelah dilakukan skrining diperoleh 10 artikel yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian.

Kesimpulan: 10 artikel menyatakan bahwa dengan intervensi telehealth angka readmisi dapat diturunkan secara signifikan.
