Peran Komunikasi dan Edukasi Pra Operatif terhadap Kepuasan Pasien Pasca Operasi Katarak : Literature Review
The Role of Pre Operative Education on Patient Satisfaction after Cataract Surgery : Literature Review
Abstract
Latar Belakang : Katarak masih menjadi penyebab kebutaan tertinggi di berbagai belahan dunia. Strategi untuk mengurangi angka kebutaan global adalah dengan meningkatkan cataract surgical coverage, yang akan dicapai dengan layanan katarak yang komprehensif. Penerapan komunikasi, informasi, dan edukasi yang tepat merupakan salah satu unsur palayanan yang komprehensif dan dapat bergubungan dengan peningkatan kepuasan pasien.
Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan komunikasi, informasi, dan edukasi terhadap kepuasan pasien pada layanan operasi katarak.
Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode literature review dengan besar sampel sebanyak 14 jurnal dari hasil pencarian literatur dari beberapa database.
Hasil: Penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa dengan meningkatnya tehnologi, edukasi pra operasi katarak dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan pasien, dimulai dari mengurangi kecemasan durante operasi, mengurangi nyeri operasi, sehingga pasien dapat dengan nyaman menjalani operasi katarak, dan menjalani masa pemulihan.
Kesimpulan: Edukasi dan informasi yang tepat memberikan kepuasan kepada pasien dalam layanan katarak. Manajemen Rumah sakit diharapkan dapat membentuk tim komprehensif yang memiliki kualitas edukasi dan informasi yang tepat dalam layanan katarak sehingga pasien merasa puas terhadap layanan katarak.
