Strategi Rumah Sakit di Indonesia dalam Mengatasi Kenaikan Kasus COVID-19 Varian Omicron : Literature Review

Abstract
Latar Belakang: Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) khususnya varian Omicron menyebar dengan sangat cepat hingga menjadi penyakit pandemi yang menyebabkan peningkatan angka kematian selama satu tahun terakhir. Di Indonesia yang padat penduduknya, rumah sakit rujukan dituntut dapat mengatasi lonjakan kasus COVID-19 varian Omicron. Tidak hanya itu, lonjakan kasus COVID-19 varian Omicron juga mempengaruhi angka penularan pada tenaga kesehatan di rumah sakit rujukan.
Tujuan: Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk secara sistematis mengkaji mengenai strategi rumah sakit rujukan dalam menangani lonjakan kasus COVID-19 varian Omicron, sehingga dapat berguna dalam penerapannya untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan pasien COVID-19 dan pasien lainnya, serta dapat menurunkan angka penularan dan kematian di rumah sakit.
Metode: Kajian ini menggunakan database: PubMed dan Google Scholar. Penyusunan dan evaluasi judul abstrak dilakukan dengan menggunakan Mendeley, begitu juga dengan identifikasi dan menghapus abstrak yang ganda.
Hasil: Hasil kajian dari tiga artikel yang terpilih mencakup masalah yang didapatkan rumah sakit rujukan selama lonjakan COVID-19 varian Omicron dan strateginya dalam menangani masalah-masalah tersebut. Masalah yang didapatkan adalah ketidakseimbangan antara kebutuhan dan keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana kesehatan akibat lonjakan, serta ditemukannya angka penularan di rumah sakit rujukan. Dari masalah-masalah tersebut, rumah sakit rujukan melakukan penyusunan strategi berupa pembentukan tim khusus yang menangani lonjakan COVID-19 varian Omicron, menetapkan strategi 3T untuk staf rumah sakit rujukan, dan menetapkan strategi teknologi telemedicine.
Kesimpulan: Dalam menangani lonjakan COVID-19 varian Omicron, rumah sakit rujukan perlu menetapkan strategi untuk memaksimalkan pelayanan kesehatan dan memutus rantai penularan COVID-19 varian Omicron.
