Abstract
Latar belakang: Penyakit TBC merupakan penyakit menular dan menyebabkan kematian nomor dua di seluruh dunia setelah Covid-19 (diatas HIV dan AIDS). Penyakit TBC paru ini merupakan penyakit yang berdampak pada kesehatan fisik dan kondisi psikis serta sosial penderita. Psikologi penderita TB sangat dipengaruhi oleh dukungan keluarga atau social support, bagaimana penderita mampu melakukan coping yang adaptif atau maladaptif.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran social support dalam strategi coping penderita TBC Paru
Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan literature review dari jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional yang diterbitkan 10 tahun terakhir yaitu sejak tahun 2013 hingga tahun 2023 melalui database google schoolar. Tinjauan sistemastis, dengan pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA).
Hasil: Setelah dilakukan analisis dan dilakukan review pada hasil penelusuran artikel didapatkan 10 artikel yang relevan dengan topik pembahasan yaitu terkait dengan pengaruh peran social support dalam strategi coping penderita TBC paru. Sebagian besar artikel yang ditemukan terdapat pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap pengobatan penderita TB.
Kesimpulan: Dukungan sosial baik dari keluarga, teman atau komunitas dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup penderita TB.
