Terapi Relaksasi Otot Progresif terhadap Kualitas Hidup Pasien dengan Penyakit Kronis: Literature Review

Abstract
Latar belakang: Kejadian kecemasan, stres, depresi, susah tidur disebabkan oleh penyakit kronis yang diderita pasien membuat kualitas hidup menjadi menurun. Salah satu intervensi mandiri yang dapat diajarkan perawat kepada pasien adalah terapi relaksasi otot progresif.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan referensi terkait terapi relaksasi otot progresif terhadap kualitas hidup pasien yang mengalami penyakit kronis.
Metode: Metode penulisan Literatur reviewe artikel ini menggunakan metode pendekatan narative review. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang didapatkan dari beberapa database seperti Google Schoolar, Pubmed, Science Direct, dan Proquest. Pencarian literatur dalam penyususnan artikel menggunakan kurun waktu tahun penerbitan mulai dari tahun 2017 hingga 2023.
Hasil: Hasil yang didapat dari keseluruhan artikel yang sudah ditelaah menunjukkan bahwa terapi relaksasi otot progresif memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kualitas hidup pasien dengan penyakit kronis
Kesimpulan: Terapi relaksasi otot progresif merupakan intervensi mandiri perawat yang berpengaruh positif terhadap kualitas hidup pasien yang mengalami penyakit kronis.
