Abstract

Latar belakang: Malnutrisi menjadi salah satu tantangan kesehatan global. Status gizi anak dipengaruhi oleh praktik pengasuhan, asupan makanan anak, dan lingkungan yang sehat. Pemberdayaan perempuan merupakan faktor penting dalam pengasuhan anak dan menentukan status kesehatan anak.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaharui bukti terkini terkait hubungan pemberdayaan perempuan dengan status gizi anak, serta menganalisis indikator langsung pemberdayaan perempuan.

Metode: Artikel ini ditulis dengan metode studi literatur dengan 18 artikel sesuai dianalisis. Sebagian besar artikel yang ditemukan berasal dari Asia Selatan dan Sub-sahara Afrika.

Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 kelompok indikator (alokasi sumber daya, pengambilan keputusan terkait reproduksi, dan gabungan) dan 4 dimensi (sumber daya, agensi, pencapaian, dan gabungan) yang ditemukan.

Kesimpulan: Perlunya menentukan indikator pemberdayaan perempuan yang tepat dan sesuai untuk mendapatkan informasi yang lebih substantif, serta mengambil data dengan desain studi longitudinal untuk mengukur indikator pemberdayaan perempuan berdasarkan siklus kehidupan.
