Pengembangan Media Edukasi Anemia & Pangan Halal Sumber Zat Besi Berbasis Video, Website, & E-Leaflet
Development of Educational Video, Website, and E-Leaflet about Anemia and Halal Food Source of Iron
Abstract
Latar belakang: Berbagai pendekatan dapat dilakukan dalam upaya mengatasi anemia, salah satu diantaranya adalah melalui pemberian edukasi dan promosi gizi seimbang, gaya hidup bersih dan sehat, dan fortifikasi makanan.
Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media edukasi berbasis video, website, dan e-leaflet terkait anemia dan pangan halal sumber zat besi dalam rangka mengatasi anemia pada remaja.
Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah quasy experiment. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Bogor dari bulan Maret hingga bulan November 2021. Pengembangan media secara menyeluruh diselenggarakan pada 5 bulan pertama, sedangkan intervensi media dilakukan setelahnya. Responden di dalam penelitian ini terbagi atas 3 kelompok, yaitu kelompok video, kelompok website, dan kelompok e-leaflet; dengan masing-masing kelompok terdiri atas 25 siswa/i.
Hasil: Penelitian ini menghasilkan 3 (tiga) media edukasi berupa video, website, dan e-leaflet yang dikembangkan berdasarkan masukan dari para guru. Seluruh media di dalam penelitian ini secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa/i yang dilihat melalui peningkatan skor pengetahuan. Media terbaik dipilih berdasarkan kemampuannya dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa/i yang dilihat melalui perubahan skor pengetahuan yang paling tinggi dari sebelum dan setelah pemaparan media, yang di dalam penelitian ini ditunjukkan oleh media edukasi video (peningkatan skor sebanyak 23.7 poin).
Kesimpulan: Media edukasi dalam bentuk video merupakan media yang terbaik dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan terkait anemia dan pangan halal sumber zat besi
