Hubungan Keseimbangan Statis terhadap Resiko Jatuh pada pasien Knee Osteoarthritis di Kota Malang
The Relationship Between Static Balance and Risk of Falling in Knee Osteoarthritis Patients in Malang City
Abstract
Latar belakang: Osteoartritis (OA) adalah penyakit degenerative sendi yang terutama melibatkan sendi yang menahan beban seperti pinggul, lutut, dan pergelangan kaki. Dikatakan knee osteoathiritis sebagai penyebab gangguan keseimbangan, stabilitas postural yang menurun menyebabkan kesulitan dalam melakukan aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari yang akan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kemampuan keseimbangan statis terhadap resiko jatuh pada pasien knee osteoarthritis di kota malang.
Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah single leg standing, dimana pasien diminta untuk berdiri satu kaki menggunakan kaki ternyaman sebagai tumpuanya dan dihitung berapa lama pasien mampu berdiri dengan satu kaki. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 53 responden dengan rentan usia 45 tahun – 90 tahun keatas. Data tersebut kemudian diolah menggunakan SPSS.
Hasil: Hasil dari uji chi square di dapat nilai lebih dari 20% maka hasil yang di baca adalah hasil dari uji fisher’s disimpulkan bahwa nilai exact sig adalah 0,011 yang mana nilai p<0,05 dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna dimana H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara resiko jatuh terhadap keseimbangan yang menggunakan tekhnik single leg standing.
