Aspek Sosial Budaya yang Mempengaruhi Upaya Promosi Kesehatan Obesitas pada Anak: Literature Review
Socio-Cultural Aspects Influencing Health Promotion Efforts to Obesity in Children: Literature Review
Abstract
Latar Belakang : Tingginya angka kejadian obesitas juga terjadi pada anak-anak dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Aspek sosial budaya setempat menjadi bagian yang sering menyebabkan terjadinya kasus obesitas pada anak. Seringkali upaya promotif dan preventif yang dilakukan mengalami kendala dari aspek sosial budaya tersebut.
Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk men-sintesis temuan penelitian mengenai aspek sosial budaya terhadap upaya promosi kesehatan pada kejadian obesitas anak.
Metode: Studi pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode systematic review and meta-synthesis studies. Pencarian data dilakukan dengan 3 (tiga) database yaitu PubMed, Science Direct, Taylor & Francis dengan kata kunci tertentu dan rentang studi penelitian selama 5 Tahun.
Hasil: Terdapat beberapa aspek sosial budaya yang berhubungan dengan kejadian obesitas pada anak yaitu teman sebaya, lingkungan rumah, lingkungan sekolah, akses dan ekonomi.
Kesimpulan: Aspek sosial budaya memiliki pengaruh baik positif maupun negatif terhadap upaya promotif dan preventif kasus obesitas anak, oleh karenanya aspek sosial budaya tersebut harus menjadi perhatian serius dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang spesifik lokal.
