Faktor Perilaku Pencegahan Terhadap Kejadian Malaria di Papua: Analisis Riskesdas 2010-2018
Factors of Preventive Behavior Against Malaria Incidence in Papua: Riskesdas Analysis 2010-2018
Abstract
Latar belakang: Indonesia menyumbangkan sekitar 1% kematian akibat malaria. Provinsi Papua dan Provinsi Papua Barat selalu menempati urutan pertama kasus postif malaria terbanyak di Indonesia. Perilaku pencegahan malaria dilakukan dengan menggunakan kelambu, penggunaan repellent, pemakaian obat nyamuk, menggunakan kasa nyamuk pada jendela atau ventilasi.
Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat faktor perilaku pencegahan yang dilakukan masyarakat terhadap kejadian malaria tahun 2010-2018 di Papua.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder Riskesdas tahun 2010-2018 dengan rancangan penelitian cross-sectional. Populasi studi merupakan 88.302 orang anggota rumah tangga di Propinsi Papua dan Propinsi Papua Barat yang berhasil diwawancarai. Analisis menggunakan multivariat regresi logistic.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan Penggunaan kelambu dampak paling besar dalam pencegahan malaria tahun 2018 (AOR 1,820; 95% CI 1,732-1,913), penyemprotan obat nyamuk/insektisida tahun 2013 (AOR 1,252; 95% CI 1,118-1,401), menggunakan repellent (AOR 1,209; 95% CI 1,133-1,289), penggunaan kasa nyamuk (AOR 1,150; 95% CI 1,080-1,226) serta pemkaian obat nyamuk bakar/elektrik/ semprot (AOR 1,145; 95% CI 1,081-1,212).
Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku penggunaan kelambu, menggunakan repellent, penggunaan kasa nyamuk serta pemakaian obat nyamuk dapat mencegah penularan penyakit malaria.
