Abstract

Latar Belakang: Prevalensi stunting di Indonesia masih cenderung tinggi dan deteksi dini stunting belum mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor risiko yang ada.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari faktor risiko yang paling dominan pada kejadian stunting pada balita di Indonesia berdasarkan faktor ibu dan lingkungan.

Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 3251 responden Riskesdas 2018 dan dianalisis menggunakan metode kompleks survey.

Hasil: Hasil analisis diperoleh ibu KEK (aOR: 1.48; 95%CI: 1.1-1.97) dan berpendidikan rendah (aOR: 1.7; 95%CI: 1.38-2.09) berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kejadian stunting pada balita. Selanjutnya, faktor yang paling mendominasi adalah ibu yang berpendidikan rendah.

Kesimpulan: Status nutrisi selama kehamilan dan pendidikan ibu merupakan faktor dominan yang berpengaruh terhadap kejadian stunting pada balita di Indonesia. Selanjutnya, pendidikan rendah menjadi faktor yang paling mempengaruhi kejadian stunting.
