Pemberdayaan Kesehatan Kelompok Disabilitas Kito Rato dalam Perubahan Sikap dan Pengetahuan Terkait Covid-19
Health Empowerment of Kito Rato's Disability Group in Changing Attitudes and Knowledge Related to Covid-19
Abstract
Latar belakang: Hingga saat ini Covid-19 masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang mempengaruhi semua orang, tidak terkecuali orang dengan disabilitas menjadi salah satu kelompok yang rentan terdampak. Covid-19 membawa dampak pada segala sektor kehidupan terutama kesehatan. Kito Rato adalah salah satu UMKM kelompok disabilitas yang memiliki risiko tinggi terhadap penyebaran virus Covid-19.
Tujuan: untuk untuk melihat gambaran persepsi, sikap, dan tindakan serta efektivitas edukasi pemberdayaan kesehatan terkait pencegahan Covid-19, vaksinasi dan adaptasi kehidupan baru terhadap kelompok disabilitas UMKM Kito Rato, Tangerang Selatan tahun 2021
Metode: Metode penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Health Belief Model (HBM), penelitian dilakukan secara online menggunakan aplikasi zoom dan media sosial whatsapp.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan kesehatan terkait Covid-19 ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengubah persepsi serta sikap aktif yang sebelumnya tidak tahu dan peduli tentang Covid-19 dan pencegahannya. Mereka menjadi sadar dan concern, dan persepsi yang salah menjadi benar.
Kesimpulan: Melalui pemberdayaan kesehatan yang diberikan anggota kelompok Kito Rato dapat ikut andil secara aktif dalam melakukan pencegahan Covid-19 dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan dan menjalani vaksinasi serta mengajak kelompok disabilitas lainnya dalam pencegahan Covid-19 di lingkungan mereka.
