Determinan Kebutuhan Pelayanan KB yang tidak Terpenuhi di Papua Barat (Analisis Data SDKI 2017)
Determinants of Unmet Need for Family Planning Services in West Papua (2017 IDHS Data Analysis)
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Salah satu indikator dari keberhasilan program keluarga berencana adalah rendahnya angka pelayanan KB yang tidak terpenuhi. Angka unmet need di Indonesia berdasarkan data SDKI tahun 2017 sebesar 11 %, angka tersebut belum memenuhi target nasional tahun 2015 yaitu 5 %. Provinsi dengan prevalensi unmet need tertinggi yaitu Provinsi Papua Barat dengan persentase sebesar 23,8 % terdapat perbedaan karakteristik antara wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan determinan pelayanan KB yang tidak terpenuhi di wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan di Propinsi Papua Barat tahun 2017.
Metode: Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder SDKI tahun 2017 pada Provinsi Papua Barat menggunakan desain cross sectional dan analisis statistik uji chi square.
Hasil: Kelompok WUS dengan unmet need cenderung pada kategori yang sama kecuali pada pendidikan dan paparan informasi KB media massa. Selain itu tidak terdapat perbedaan determinan antara perkotaan dan pedesaan. Pada kejadian unmet need berdasarkan pendidikan memiliki perbedaan antara wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan (p<0,05).
Kesimpulan: Perlunya fokus KIE KB terhadap wanita dengan risiko tinggi dan perlu ada akses terhadap alat kontrasepsi yang bersifat inklusif di mana menyasar pada semua lapisan masyarakat terutama masyarakat dengan ekonomi bawah, selain itu perlu juga meningkatkan partisipasi pria aktif dalam program keluarga berencana.
