Karakteristik Responden Terhadap Status Obesitas Remaja: A Quasy Eksperiment
Abstract
Status gizi remaja sangat dipengaruhi karakteristik keluarga dan merupakan salah satu masalah gizi kesehatan masyarakat. Remaja merupakan kelompok yang rentang terhadap gizi yang berdampak pada peningkatan prevalensi penyakit degeneratif akibat gizi lebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik responden terhadap status obesitas remaja di Tana Toraja. Desain quasy eksperiment dilakukan pada 64 responden yang terdiri dari 32 kelompok intervensi dan 32 kelompok kontrol serta pengambilan secara simple random sampling dengan analisis chi-square dan mann-whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik responden bermakna terhadap status obesitas remaja dengan nilai p < 0,05. Kesimpulan diperoleh bahwa ada pengaruh karakteristik responden terhadap status obesitas remaja. Bagi responden agar memperhatikan remaja yang mengalami obesitas agar dapat menerapkan pola makan yang sehat.
