Article Processing Charge

The Article Processing Charge is payable only after a manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and has received a formal acceptance decision from the journal.

Submission and Review Fees

Jurnal Sinar Manajemen does not charge a submission fee or peer-review fee. Authors are not required to make any payment when submitting a manuscript or while the manuscript is undergoing initial editorial assessment and peer review.

Payment of the Article Processing Charge does not influence editorial decisions and does not guarantee acceptance. All manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's editorial policies, focus and scope, scholarly contribution, originality, methodological quality, and peer-review outcomes.

When Payment Is Required

• Authors are required to make payment only after receiving an official acceptance notification from the editorial office.
• Payment instructions will be communicated through the journal's official editorial channel.
• Authors should not make payment based on unofficial messages, personal requests, or communication outside the journal's authorised channels.
• Proof of payment may be required before the manuscript proceeds to copyediting, layout, production, or final publication.

What the APC Supports

The Article Processing Charge contributes to the operational and publishing costs associated with scholarly publication, including:

• editorial administration and manuscript management;
• peer-review coordination;
• copyediting, layout, and publication preparation;
• online hosting and journal platform maintenance;
• metadata preparation and scholarly indexing support;
• DOI-related services and digital publication infrastructure; and
• long-term maintenance of the journal's open-access publishing services.

Waiver or Reduction Policy

Requests for a waiver or reduction of the Article Processing Charge may be considered in accordance with the journal's applicable policy. Any request must be submitted to the editorial office before payment is made and will be evaluated separately from the editorial and peer-review process.

A request for a waiver or reduction does not influence manuscript assessment, peer-review outcomes, or the final editorial decision.

Refund Policy

Once payment has been received and publication processing has commenced, the Article Processing Charge is generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be considered only in specific circumstances approved by the publisher.

Authors are therefore advised to verify the manuscript details, formal acceptance status, payment amount, and official payment instructions before completing a transaction.

Payment Security and Official Communication

Authors should make payments only to the official account designated by Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu or through another payment method formally authorised by Jurnal Sinar Manajemen.

The journal and publisher are not responsible for payments made to unauthorised individuals, personal accounts, third parties, or other payment destinations that have not been officially communicated by the editorial office.

Authors who receive unclear or suspicious payment instructions should contact the editorial office for verification before completing any transaction.

Fee Transparency

Jurnal Sinar Manajemen is committed to transparent publication fee practices. The applicable Article Processing Charge is publicly stated and communicated to authors before payment. No undisclosed publication fee will be imposed after a manuscript has been accepted.

The Article Processing Charge is independent of editorial decision making. Editors and reviewers evaluate manuscripts solely on scholarly quality, relevance, originality, methodological rigour, and compliance with the journal's editorial policies.
