Required Submission Files

Authors must prepare and upload the following two separate files:

Title Page Requirements

The Title Page should contain:

• complete article title in sentence case;
• article type;
• language of the manuscript;
• short title, maximum 50 characters including spaces;
• manuscript ID, where available;
• word count;
• number of tables and figures;
• full names of all authors;
• complete institutional affiliations;
• ORCID identifiers;
• author email addresses;
• corresponding author information;
• author contribution statement using the CRediT taxonomy;
• ethics approval and informed consent information, where applicable;
• data availability statement;
• competing interests declaration;
• funding information;
• acknowledgements;
• generative AI disclosure.

Anonymous Manuscript Requirements

To preserve double-anonymous peer review, the main manuscript must not contain:

• author names;
• author affiliations;
• author email addresses or ORCID identifiers;
• acknowledgements that reveal author identity;
• identifying institutional information that is not essential during review;
• author contribution information;
• identifying information stored in the document properties or file metadata.

Manuscript Language

Manuscripts may be submitted in English. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is written clearly, consistently, and in appropriate academic language.

Manuscript Structure

The main manuscript should generally follow the structure below:

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should contain approximately 150 to 250 words and should clearly present the background or purpose, research design and methods, principal results with relevant evidence, and the main conclusion.

References should not be cited in the abstract, and undefined abbreviations should be avoided.

Authors should provide 3 to 5 specific keywords, separated by semicolons. Manuscripts should include both English and Indonesian abstracts with equivalent substantive content.

Introduction

The Introduction should explain the research problem, current evidence, research gap, significance of the study, and the specific research objective or question. Authors should avoid presenting an extensive catalogue of previous studies and instead synthesise relevant literature critically.

The section should conclude with a clear statement of the study objective and, where applicable, research hypotheses.

Literature Review and Hypothesis Development

This section should be used when theoretical development, conceptual framing, or hypothesis formulation requires separate treatment. Authors should critically integrate recent and relevant literature rather than summarising studies one by one.

Hypotheses should be logically derived from theory and previous evidence and stated clearly and consistently.

Methods

The Methods section should provide sufficient information for readers to evaluate and, where appropriate, reproduce the study. Relevant information may include:

• research design and study setting;
• population and unit of analysis;
• sampling strategy and eligibility criteria;
• sample size rationale;
• variables or constructs;
• measurement instruments;
• validity and reliability procedures;
• data collection procedures;
• analytical methods and assumptions;
• statistical or analytical software and version; and
• ethical considerations, where applicable.

Results

Results should be presented in a logical sequence and should report the findings without premature interpretation. Authors should report relevant descriptive information, measurement quality, assumptions, principal estimates, uncertainty, model results, and hypothesis testing where applicable.

Every table and figure must be cited in the text and should present information that materially contributes to understanding the findings.

Tables and Figures

• tables and figures must be numbered consecutively;
• each table and figure must have a concise and informative title or caption;
• all abbreviations, symbols, units, and statistical tests should be explained where necessary;
• figures should be clear, editable where possible, and of sufficient resolution;
• authors should not duplicate all table or figure values in the narrative text.

Discussion

The Discussion should interpret the principal findings in relation to the research objective, theoretical framework, and previous evidence. Authors should explain agreements and discrepancies with earlier studies, plausible mechanisms, and the theoretical or practical significance of the findings.

Causal claims and generalisations should not exceed what is supported by the research design and evidence.

Conclusion, Implications, and Limitations

The conclusion should provide a concise answer to the research objective and identify theoretical, managerial, organisational, accounting, economic, or policy implications that are supported by the findings.

Material limitations should be stated transparently, together with focused recommendations for future research. New results should not be introduced in the conclusion.

Declarations

Manuscripts should provide relevant declarations concerning:

• ethics approval;
• informed consent;
• consent for publication;
• data availability;
• competing interests;
• funding;
• author contributions;
• acknowledgements; and
• generative AI or AI-assisted technology use.

During anonymous review, identifying information such as author contributions and acknowledgements should be placed in the separate Title Page where necessary to preserve anonymity.

Author Contributions

Author contributions should be reported using the CRediT taxonomy. Authors should identify the initials of contributors for applicable roles, including conceptualisation, methodology, software, validation, formal analysis, investigation, resources, data curation, writing, visualisation, supervision, project administration, and funding acquisition.

References

References must follow APA 7th edition consistently. Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list, and every listed reference must be cited in the manuscript.

Where available, DOI identifiers should be presented as resolvable URLs. Authors should prioritise relevant, primary, and current scholarly sources and verify bibliographic information before submission.

Artificial Intelligence Disclosure

Authors must disclose material use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies in accordance with the journal's Artificial Intelligence Usage Policy. The disclosure should identify the tool, version where available, and purpose of use.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, references, analyses, and conclusions of the manuscript.

Submission Quality Checklist

• ☐ The manuscript fits the journal's focus and scope and an accepted article type.
• ☐ The Title Page and anonymous main manuscript have been prepared as separate files.
• ☐ The main manuscript is fully anonymised, including document metadata.
• ☐ The title, abstract, keywords, objective, methods, results, and conclusion are mutually consistent.
• ☐ Tables and figures are editable, numbered, cited, and accompanied by informative captions.
• ☐ Ethics, data availability, funding, competing interests, and AI use have been declared where applicable.
• ☐ References follow APA 7th edition and DOI links have been checked.
• ☐ Language, statistics, terminology, and formatting have been proofread.
