The journal maintains published content and associated metadata in digital form and supports preservation practices intended to protect the scholarly record against accidental loss, system failure, file corruption, platform changes, or other risks to long-term accessibility.
The primary version of record is maintained within the journal's Open Journal Systems platform. Published articles, issue information, bibliographic metadata, author information, abstracts, keywords, DOI information, and other publication records are maintained as part of the journal's digital publishing infrastructure.
The journal and publisher maintain backup procedures for the journal's digital content and publishing infrastructure. Backups are intended to support restoration of published content, metadata, configuration data, and other essential journal records if the primary system becomes unavailable or damaged.
Backup procedures should be reviewed periodically to ensure that recovery remains technically feasible and that preservation copies remain accessible and usable.
Where technically available and operationally supported, Jurnal Sinar Manajemen may participate in distributed digital preservation systems or institutional archiving arrangements designed to create independent preservation copies of published content.
Any such preservation service should operate independently from the journal's main website so that content can remain recoverable if the primary publishing platform is unavailable.
Authors may archive and share their published articles in institutional repositories, personal academic websites, disciplinary repositories, or other lawful scholarly platforms in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policy.
Where the published version is deposited, authors should retain the original citation, journal title, publication details, and DOI or other persistent identifier so that users can identify and access the version of record.
The version published on the official Jurnal Sinar Manajemen website is regarded as the version of record. Where articles are archived or redistributed elsewhere, the journal recommends linking back to the official publication and DOI to ensure that readers can identify the authoritative version.
The journal maintains bibliographic and publication metadata associated with published articles, including titles, author names, abstracts, keywords, publication dates, issue information, ISSN information, and DOI metadata where applicable.
Preserving metadata supports discoverability, citation linking, interoperability, indexing, and recovery of scholarly content over time.
If technological changes make existing file formats, software, or publishing systems obsolete, the journal may migrate content and metadata to newer formats or platforms to maintain accessibility, readability, and preservation.
Such migration should preserve the scholarly content, bibliographic identity, DOI information, citation details, and publication history of the affected material.
If Jurnal Sinar Manajemen ceases publication, reasonable efforts will be made to preserve previously published content and maintain public access to the journal's scholarly record through the journal platform, institutional systems, preservation services, repositories, or other appropriate archival arrangements.
Corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, and other post-publication notices form part of the permanent scholarly record. Where such notices are issued, the journal seeks to preserve both the bibliographic record of the original publication and the relevant editorial notice in a transparent and accessible manner.
Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu, as the publisher of Jurnal Sinar Manajemen, supports the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of the journal's published scholarly content and metadata.
