Withdrawal Manuscript
Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
Sambulugana Journal recognizes that authors may occasionally need to withdraw a submitted manuscript. The journal is committed to handling withdrawal requests fairly while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the editorial and peer-review process.
Authors are encouraged to carefully consider their decision before submitting a manuscript. Once the review process has begun, considerable editorial and reviewer resources have already been invested in evaluating the manuscript.
Withdrawal Procedure
- The corresponding author must submit a formal withdrawal request to the Editorial Office by email.
- The request must clearly state the reason for withdrawal.
- When applicable, the request should include the agreement of all co-authors.
- The withdrawal becomes effective only after receiving written confirmation from the Editorial Office.
Editorial Consideration
- Withdrawal requests submitted before peer review are generally processed more quickly.
- If the manuscript is already under peer review, the Editorial Office may require additional time to process the request.
- Once a manuscript has been accepted or published, withdrawal is generally not permitted except in cases involving significant ethical issues or serious publication errors.
- Published articles may instead be corrected or retracted in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics and Retraction Policy.
Author Responsibilities
- Authors should not submit the same manuscript to another journal while it is under consideration by Sambulugana Journal.
- Authors must wait until they receive official confirmation of withdrawal before submitting the manuscript elsewhere.
- Authors are expected to comply with the journal's Publication Ethics throughout the submission and publication process.
