Sambulugana Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Every manuscript submitted to the journal is screened for plagiarism before entering the peer-review process to ensure the originality of scholarly work.

The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, or any form of unethical publication practice. Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism will be rejected or withdrawn in accordance with the journal's publication ethics.

• All submitted manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection software before peer review.
• The Editorial Office evaluates the similarity report together with the context of matched sources.
• Similarity reports are used as a supporting tool and are not the sole basis for editorial decisions.
• Editors assess whether any similarity represents legitimate citation, common terminology, or potential plagiarism.

The journal generally expects submitted manuscripts to have an overall similarity index of no more than 20%, excluding references, quotations, bibliography, and commonly used phrases.

Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the nature and extent of the similarity identified by the editorial team.

• Direct plagiarism (copying text without proper citation).
• Self-plagiarism or redundant publication.
• Improper paraphrasing without appropriate acknowledgment.
• Unauthorized use of figures, tables, images, or data.
• Data fabrication or falsification.
• Duplicate submission to multiple journals.

• Minor similarity may require revision before peer review.
• Major plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.
• If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal may issue corrections, retractions, or article withdrawal when necessary.
• Serious cases of academic misconduct may be reported to the authors' affiliated institutions.
