Horizon of Public Health Sciences (HoPHS) reports indexing, discoverability, persistent-identifier participation, and journal metrics conservatively and transparently. Services are listed as active only when HoPHS participation or discoverability can be verified at journal or article level.

Current journal stage: HoPHS has not yet published an issue. Accordingly, formal article-level indexing, citation indicators, acceptance-rate statistics, and observed publication-turnaround metrics are not yet available. This page will be updated as verifiable journal data become available.

Acceptance Rate
Acceptance rate will be published only after a meaningful reporting period

HoPHS will not publish an acceptance percentage based on a very small number of manuscripts. Once sufficient data exist, the journal may report an annual acceptance rate using a clearly defined methodology and reporting period so that the figure can be interpreted correctly.

The journal should disclose the period covered and denominator used when acceptance-rate data are first published. Desk rejections, withdrawn submissions, incomplete submissions, and other editorial outcomes should be handled consistently in the calculation methodology rather than silently changing the denominator.
Citation Indicators
Use only metrics from identifiable sources

When citation indicators become available, HoPHS will identify the source and reporting date. Metrics from different services should not be presented as interchangeable because databases differ in coverage, citation matching, document types, and update schedules.

Metric Integrity
HoPHS does not use misleading or unofficial impact claims

HoPHS will not display invented, unverifiable, or misleading “impact factor” values, imitation citation indicators, unofficial quartiles, or badges designed to resemble recognized indexing metrics. A metric will be named according to the service that actually produces it.

No aspirational logos

Logos for Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, SINTA, GARUDA, PubMed, MEDLINE, or another selective service will appear on the HoPHS website only after inclusion is verified. Eligibility, intention to apply, an application under review, or indexing of another journal managed by the same institution does not authorize HoPHS to claim that status.

The editorial office should review this page after the first issue is published and whenever HoPHS receives a new verified indexing status, begins DOI registration, establishes Google Scholar article coverage, or accumulates enough editorial data to report reliable acceptance and turnaround statistics.

Historical or discontinued indexing claims should not remain displayed as current. Where a material status changes, HoPHS should update the website so that the public record reflects the journal's actual current inclusion rather than its previous or intended status.

Discoverability, database inclusion, persistent identifiers, citation indicators, acceptance rates, and turnaround statistics are therefore reported with clear status, appropriate source context, and without aspirational or misleading claims.
