Editorial decisions at Horizon of Public Health Sciences are based on scholarly merit, relevance to the journal's scope, methodological quality, research integrity, and independent peer review. The Editor-in-Chief and responsible editors retain authority over individual editorial decisions. The publisher, sponsoring institution, authors, funders, commercial interests, and other external parties do not determine whether an individual manuscript is accepted or rejected.
HoPHS publishes institutional affiliations for its editors and editorial board members. Persistent researcher identifiers such as ORCID and Scopus Author ID are displayed only where the journal has sufficient information to associate the identifier with the correct individual.
