Plagiarism Policy
Journal of Educational Management and Islamic Leadership (JEMIL) upholds the highest standards of academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the authors and free from any form of plagiarism.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

Copying or paraphrasing substantial parts of another’s work without proper citation.

Claiming results or ideas from others as one’s own.

Reproducing text, figures, or tables from other sources without proper acknowledgment.

Self-plagiarism (reusing one’s own previously published work without disclosure or citation).
Plagiarism Screening

All manuscripts submitted to JEMIL will be screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate).

A manuscript will be automatically rejected if the similarity index exceeds 20%, excluding properly cited references, bibliography, and common phrases.
Handling Detected Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process (submission, review, or post-publication), the following actions may be taken:

Immediate rejection of the manuscript.

Notification sent to the author(s) and their affiliated institution(s).

Retraction of the article if already published.

A formal notice of misconduct may be issued.
Authors’ Responsibility
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted work is entirely original and that all sources are properly cited. By submitting to JEMIL, authors affirm that their manuscript is free from plagiarism and has not been submitted to or published in any other journal.
