Iqra: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman (p-ISSN: 0216-4949; e-ISSN: 2615-4870) is a scholarly journal focusing on education and Islamic studies. The journal was first established as a printed academic publication under the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu, serving as a platform for disseminating research in Islamic education and related fields.
The journal has undergone significant development over time. The electronic ISSN (e-ISSN 2615-4870) was officially registered in 2018, marking an important transition from a print-based publication to an online journal system. This shift reflects the journal’s effort to adapt to digital academic publishing standards and to expand its accessibility to a broader readership.
A notable milestone occurred in July 2018, specifically in Volume 13 Number 2, when the journal began strengthening its online publication system and further developing its digital presence. Since then, Iqra: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman has continued to grow as an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly works in the fields of Islamic education and Islamic studies.
Today, the journal remains active in contributing to academic discourse and research dissemination at both national and international levels.
