Author Guidelines for Iqra: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman

Welcome to Iqra: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman! To ensure a smooth submission process and to maintain the high standards of our journal, please adhere to the following guidelines when preparing your manuscript.

1. Manuscript Preparation
Language: Manuscripts should be written in Indonesia or English. Ensure that the language is clear and concise, adhering to academic writing standards.
Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or LaTeX format. Use standard font (e.g., Times New Roman) at size 12, double-spaced.
Length: The maximum length for research articles is 8,000 words, including references. For shorter communications, review articles, and case studies, please adhere to the word limits specified in the journal's Call for Papers.


2. Structure and Content
Title Page: Include a title page with the following:

Title of the manuscript (concise and descriptive)
Full names of all authors
Affiliations of all authors
Corresponding author's contact details (email address, phone number, and mailing address)
A short running head (up to 50 characters)
Abstract: Provide an abstract of up to 250 words summarizing the key objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study. Avoid citations in the abstract.

Keywords: List 4-6 keywords relevant to the manuscript to facilitate search and indexing.

Main Text: The manuscript should be organized into the following sections:

Introduction: Clearly state the research problem, objectives, and significance of the study.
Methods: Describe the methodology in sufficient detail to allow replication. Include information on study design, participants, data collection, and analysis.
Results: Present the findings in a clear and logical sequence. Use tables and figures where appropriate.
Discussion: Interpret the results, discuss their implications, and relate them to existing research. Address limitations and suggest areas for future research.
Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and their implications.
References: Follow the APA 7th edition style for citations and references. Ensure all references are complete and up-to-date.
Figures and Tables: Include figures and tables in the main text or as separate files. Ensure they are high quality, with clear labels and captions. Number figures and tables consecutively.

3. Submission Process
Submission System: Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Alternatively, you may submit via email if instructed to do so.
Cover Letter: Include a cover letter with your submission that briefly explains the significance of the research, its contribution to the field, and why it is suitable for Iqra: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman.
Ethical Compliance: Submit a statement confirming that the research complies with ethical standards and that you have obtained any necessary approvals.


4. Review Process
Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the field.
Revisions: Be prepared to make revisions based on reviewer feedback. Submit a detailed response to reviewers' comments along with the revised manuscript.


5. Ethical Considerations
Plagiarism: Manuscripts must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.
Conflicts of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the research or publication.


6. Publication Fees
Fees: Iqra: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan dan Keislaman does not charge submission or publication fees. Please check the journal’s website for any updates on fees.
