Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kecemasan pre operatif berhubungan dengan dampak pemulihan pasien yang negatif. Virtual Reality (VR) adalah teknologi baru yang menjanjikan dan menawarkan peluang untuk memodulasi pengalaman dan kognisi pasien dan telah terbukti terkait dengan tingkat kecemasan yang lebih rendah. Literatur review ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas virtual reality dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pre operatif pada pasien yang menjalani prosedur anestesi.

Metode: Desain yang digunakan adalah Literature Review. Pencarian artikel pada penelitian ini melalui online database yang dapat diakses seperti Google Scholar, ScienceDirect dan ProQuest.  Menggunakan keyword dan Boolean Operator. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil telaah10 jurnal pilihan, didapatkan kesimpulan intervensi non farmakologis dengan penggunaan virtual reality secara bermakna efektif menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pasien pre operatif yang akan menjalani operasi dengan prosedur anestesi dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang menerima perawatan standar atau teknik distraksi lainnya.

Rekomendasi: Diharapkan VR dapat digunakan diberbagai setting perawatan kesehatan sebagai intervensi non farmakologis teruatama dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan.
