Efektifitas Latihan Olahraga terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah: A Literature Review
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Tekanan darah bisa diartikan sebagai kekuatan yang diberikan oleh sirkulasi darah terhadap dinding arteri tubuh, yaitu pembuluh darah utama yang berada dalam tubuh. Besarnya tekanan ini bergantung pada resistensi pembuluh darah dan seberapa keras jantung bekerja. Semakin banyak darah yang dipompa oleh jantung dan semakin sempit pembuluh darah arteri, maka tekanan darah akan semakin tinggi.
Tujuan: Untuk mengevaluasi berbagai jenis latihan olahraga yang digunakan untuk menurunkan tekanan darah pada usia lanjut.
Metode: Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review. Database elektronik yang digunakan dalam pencarian literature adalah PubMed, Scholar yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2012 sampai 2021.
Hasil: Sebanyak 1.010.225 artikel yang teridentifikasi dari database, dan 5 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria untuk dilakukan review. Diperoleh berbagai jenis terapi olahraga yang diberikan untuk menurunkan tekanan darah.
Kesimpulan: Intervensi terapi olahraga yang diberikan mampu menurunkan tekanan darah
