Education 4.0: Preparing Students for the World of Work in the Age of AI and Automation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep Pendidikan 4.0 sebagai upaya mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi dunia kerja di era kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan otomatisasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah artikel-artikel ilmiah dari lima tahun terakhir yang relevan dengan topik Pendidikan 4.0, literasi AI, dan transformasi pembelajaran. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan 4.0 tidak hanya sekadar integrasi teknologi digital dalam proses pembelajaran, tetapi juga transformasi menyeluruh yang mencakup kurikulum adaptif, pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21, serta penekanan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis, literasi data, dan etika digital. Temuan utama mengindikasikan bahwa keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam penggunaan AI, dan ketidakmatangan kebijakan pendidikan masih menjadi hambatan signifikan, terutama di negara berkembang. Pembahasan lebih lanjut menegaskan bahwa strategi implementasi Pendidikan 4.0 harus melibatkan integrasi literasi AI sejak pendidikan dasar, penguatan kompetensi pedagogis guru, serta kebijakan publik yang menjamin akses merata dan etika penggunaan teknologi. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan Pendidikan 4.0 sangat ditentukan oleh sinergi antara kurikulum, tenaga pendidik, infrastruktur, dan regulasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya membangun sistem pendidikan yang tidak hanya adaptif terhadap teknologi, tetapi juga inklusif, etis, dan berorientasi pada masa depan.
