DIFFICULTY DEGREE OF ENGLISH TEST DESIGNED BY HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER
Abstract
This study attends to provide information about the difficulty level of English test in High School in Parigi, Central Sulawesi designed by the teacher. In carrying out the research, descriptive-quantitative method was applied. The sample of this study is the multiple-choice test at the third year students of Senior High School in Parigi Selatan consists of 40 items. Based on the findings, the outcomes of the existing data of the test reported that 14 items were classified as difficult, 26 items were classified as moderate and there were no items classified as easy. Based on the results, the researchers conclude that the difficulty of the English test designed by the English teacher of third year students at SMK Negeri 1 Parigi selatan have ‘good test’ with mean score 0,31.
