Peran Teknologi Wearable dalam Meningkatkan Performa Atlet
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of sports, particularly through the use of wearable technology as a tool for monitoring athlete performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of training intensity, recovery quality, and training load on athletic performance using data obtained from wearable technology. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis of 65 athletes from the Semarang Emas Program (PSE) from various sports. The independent variables in this study include training intensity, recovery quality, and training load, while the dependent variable is athletic performance. The results of the analysis show that, both partially and simultaneously, the three independent variables do not have a significant effect on athletic performance. The very low coefficient of determination indicates that athletic performance is more influenced by factors other than the variables studied, such as mental condition, playing technique, nutrition, and training strategy. Nevertheless, wearable technology still plays an important role as a data-based decision support system in managing athlete training, particularly for monitoring physiological conditions and preventing fatigue and injury risks.
