Jurnal Kolaboratif Sains (JKS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and multidisciplinary scientific journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu, located in Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly publishing platform for researchers, academics, lecturers, practitioners, policymakers, and students to disseminate original research articles, review articles, and community service papers that make significant contributions to the advancement of science, technology, and innovation across diverse fields of knowledge. In recognition of its continuous improvement in editorial quality and publication standards, Jurnal Kolaboratif Sains was reaccredited and upgraded from SINTA Rank 6 to SINTA Rank 4 based on the Decree of the Direktur Jenderal Sains dan Teknologi No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, issued on 24 July 2026.

Published monthly (12 issues per year), JKS ensures the rapid dissemination of scientific knowledge through a rigorous editorial process. Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process conducted by independent experts to ensure scientific merit, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and academic integrity.
As an Open Access Journal, JKS provides immediate and unrestricted access to all published articles, enabling researchers worldwide to read, download, distribute, and cite scholarly works without subscription barriers. This policy supports the global exchange of knowledge and enhances the visibility and impact of published research. To ensure long-term accessibility and reliable citation, every published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref.
