Abstract
Livestock health is a primary indicator of the success of small-scale farming enterprises, particularly in enhancing the production of animal products such as meat and milk. In Genggelang Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency, most Ettawa Crossbreed (PE) goat farmers face challenges in maintaining the health and productivity of their animals. This is largely due to their limited knowledge of nutritional management, which results in vitamin and mineral deficiencies in their livestock. This community service initiative aims to improve farmers’ understanding of the importance of proper nutrition and to provide direct multivitamin therapy for their animals. Through a combination of educational outreach and hands-on multivitamin administration, the program has successfully enhanced the farmers' knowledge, awareness, and skills in managing livestock health. The results revealed a positive behavioral shift among farmers, who became more proactive in animal husbandry practices and began to utilize goat milk as a new source of income. This outcome demonstrates that education-based interventions, coupled with direct service delivery, can significantly strengthen farmers’ capacity to develop sustainable livestock enterprises focused on improving household economic well-being.
