Kampanye Kesadaran dan Screaning Prediktor Gula Darah (Pradiabetes) melalui Kelas Edukasi dalam Meningkatkan Perilaku Adaptif di Kabupaten Takalar

Abstract

Diabetes merupakan epidemi dengan menimbulkan beberapa masalah kesehatan masyarakat utama di seluruh dunia. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu meningkatkan perilaku adaptif dari hasil screaning melalui kelas edukasi dan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pradiabetes, mengajarkan mereka tentang faktor risiko, gejala, dan cara mengelola kondisi ini, serta memberikan layanan skrining untuk mendeteksi potensi pradiabetes pada individu. Metode pengabdian ini, pertama membagikan kuesioner risiko diabetes masyarakat untuk membantu mereka menilai risiko mereka terkena diabetes, melakukan Kampanye Kesadaran dapat dilakukan melalui penyuluhan di tempat umum, penggunaan media sosial, pemasangan spanduk, dan penyebaran materi informasi melalui modul, Diskusi dan Tanya Jawab serta melakukan screaning. Hasil screaning dari total 80 peserta disimpulkan kelompok dengan hipertensi sebanyak 46 orang (57,5%) dan IMT ( overweight 15 (18,8%), gemuk 43 orang (53%) sedangkan kelompok teridentifikasi pradiebetes 41 orang (51,3). Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat dengan meningkatkan kesadaran dan perilaku sehat dalam jangka panjang.
