Work stress is a psychosocial problem that significantly affects the health and productivity of workers, especially in high-demand industrial sectors. Presenteeism and anxiety are two factors often associated with work stress. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between presenteeism and anxiety on work stress among operator workers. This study used a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. Presenteeism was measured using the Stanford Presenteeism Scale-6 (SPS-6), anxiety using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), and work stress using the Work Stress Scale (WSS). Data analysis used the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between presenteeism and work stress (p = 0.312; r = 0.142) and no significant relationship between anxiety and work stress (p = 0.287; r = 0.156). The absence of significant relationships may be attributed to other mediating factors such as social support and individual coping strategies. Future research should consider these confounding variables to provide a more comprehensive understanding.
