Indonesian Research Journal in Legal Studies (IRJILS) with E-ISSN 2963-1017 was first published in Volume 1 Number 1, September 2022, as a response to the growing need for an academic platform dedicated to legal studies in both Indonesian and global perspectives.
Since its inaugural issue, IRJILS has been committed to academic quality by implementing a double-blind peer-review system to ensure the integrity and objectivity of every published manuscript. The journal serves as a forum for academics, researchers, legal practitioners, and students to disseminate research findings, critical analysis, and progressive ideas in the field of law.
Looking ahead, IRJILS aims to:
Become an internationally reputable journal, indexed in leading databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Sinta.
Present innovative research, focusing on contemporary legal issues such as legal digitalization, human rights, social justice, and international law.
Build global networks through collaboration with universities, research institutions, and international academic communities.
Contribute to policy-making, ensuring that published research can serve as references for decision-making at national and global levels.
The existence of IRJILS is important because it serves as a bridge between legal theory and practice, as well as a platform that supports the development of legal knowledge adaptable to changing times. With a strong vision for the future, IRJILS will continue to contribute to strengthening academic traditions and advancing a just legal society.
