Indexing, Abstracting & Journal Metrics
Horizon of Public Health Sciences (HoPHS) reports indexing, discoverability, persistent-identifier participation, and journal metrics conservatively and transparently. Services are listed as active only when HoPHS participation or discoverability can be verified at journal or article level.
HoPHS distinguishes general web discoverability from formal inclusion in a bibliographic, abstracting, citation, accreditation, or journal-quality database. Search-engine visibility does not imply acceptance by a formal indexing service.
HoPHS lists a formal indexing or abstracting service only after acceptance, inclusion, or journal-level coverage has been confirmed through an appropriate official source. Application, eligibility, technical compatibility, or future intention is not described as indexing.
Journals published within the Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu scholarly publishing environment use the DOI prefix 10.56338 for registered scholarly content. This demonstrates established institutional DOI registration infrastructure.
The prefix is already used for published journal content within the institution's journal platform.
HoPHS has not yet published an issue; therefore, article-level DOI registration for HoPHS cannot yet be presented as an active journal metric or indexing record.
Because HoPHS has not yet published an issue, observed citation, usage, acceptance, and publication-process metrics are not yet available. HoPHS will distinguish measured historical performance from editorial targets or service commitments.
HoPHS has established operational turnaround targets in its Peer Review Policy. These values describe intended editorial service levels and should not be interpreted as measured historical performance until sufficient submission data exist.
HoPHS will not publish an acceptance percentage based on a very small number of manuscripts. Once sufficient data exist, the journal may report an annual acceptance rate using a clearly defined methodology and reporting period so that the figure can be interpreted correctly.
When citation indicators become available, HoPHS will identify the source and reporting date. Metrics from different services should not be presented as interchangeable because databases differ in coverage, citation matching, document types, and update schedules.
HoPHS will not display invented, unverifiable, or misleading “impact factor” values, imitation citation indicators, unofficial quartiles, or badges designed to resemble recognized indexing metrics. A metric will be named according to the service that actually produces it.
Logos for Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, SINTA, GARUDA, PubMed, MEDLINE, or another selective service will appear on the HoPHS website only after inclusion is verified. Eligibility, intention to apply, an application under review, or indexing of another journal managed by the same institution does not authorize HoPHS to claim that status.
The editorial office should review this page after the first issue is published and whenever HoPHS receives a new verified indexing status, begins DOI registration, establishes Google Scholar article coverage, or accumulates enough editorial data to report reliable acceptance and turnaround statistics.
HoPHS treats indexing status and journal metrics as factual scholarly-publishing information. Discoverability, database inclusion, persistent identifiers, citation indicators, acceptance rates, and turnaround statistics are therefore reported with clear status, appropriate source context, and without aspirational or misleading claims.
