Abstract

Hyperlipidemia is often also known as hyperlipoproteinemia, because before circulates in the blood. Fat must bind to protein to form lipoprotein. The purpose of this service is to provide information on the use of antihyperlipidemia drugs in the elderly. The stages carried out began with conducting an initial survey of conditions around the Limba b sub-district for elderly people who experienced hyperlipidemia and than counseling was given from house to house by distributing brochures. It is hoped that this service will further increase public knowledge regarding the management of hyperlipidemia diseases.
