Prediksi Sedimentasi Sungai: Studi Kasus Implementasi Teknik Lingkungan dalam Penelolaan Sumber Daya Air
River Sedimentation Prediction: A Case Study of Environmental Engineering Implementation in Water Resources Management
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami karakteristik sedimentasi Sungai Citarum di Jawa Barat, Indonesia, dan menyajikan strategi pengelolaan yang dapat diterapkan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan sumber daya air dan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan studi kasus dengan analisis data sekunder dan primer, termasuk analisis topografi dan hidrologi, analisis laboratorium terhadap sampel sedimen, dan pemodelan prediksi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pentingnya pemahaman mendalam tentang pola sedimentasi, identifikasi area rawan, dan penggunaan pemodelan prediksi sebagai alat pengambilan keputusan. Implikasi temuan ini sangat signifikan dalam merencanakan strategi pengelolaan yang tepat guna untuk mengatasi masalah sedimentasi dan menjaga keberlanjutan Sungai Citarum. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengambilan keputusan yang lebih terinformasi dalam upaya mempertahankan kelestarian sumber daya air dan lingkungan hidup bagi generasi mendatang.
