Analisis Pengaruh Program Eco-Campus Terhadap Perilaku Pro Lingkungan Mahasiswa
Analysis of the Influence of the Eco Campus Program on Student Pro-Environmental Behavior
Abstract
Kerusakan lingkungan berdampak pada perubahan iklim, bencana, dan gangguan kesehatan. Kerusakan lingkungan ekstrim terjadi akibat peningkatan ekonomi, perubahan gaya hidup, konsumsi, dan perilaku manusia. Mahasiswa merupakan tonggak estafet dalam memberikan solusi yang tepat dalam mengelola dan memperbaiki lingkungan. Eco Campus merupakan program pembiasaan Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB) berbasis civitas akademik di Kota Surabaya sejak tahun 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat PEB mahasiswa dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Sampel berasal dari fakultas Seni dan Bahasa, Sains, dan Pendidikan yang dipilih dengan metode cluster random sampling sebanyak 415 mahasiswa. Self-reported questionnaire terdiri atas 11 bagian yang diisi secara langsung di dalam kelas. Hasil studi menunjukkan tingkat PEB berada pada level sedang. Latar belakang pendidikan dan program Eco Campus tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap PEB. Analisis SEM menunjukkan variabel informasi, fear, perceived severity, perceived vulnerability, dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap PEB. Motivasi juga berperan sebagai mediator dalam meningkatkan PEB. Informasi mengenai keparahan dan kerentanan ancaman kerusakan lingkungan harus ditingkatkan dalam program Eco Campus untuk meningkatkan PEB mahasiswa.
